Hi, my name is Olivia Rivera and I’m a student with a heart for missions. I have grown up in the church my whole life as a pastors kid. I’ve been to countless dinners with missionary families, but it never crossed my mind that I could potentially be that missionary sitting across from a pastor. My whole life I never had big dreams for myself, I didn't think God had a specific call over my life, until March of 2022. In March of 2022 I went on my very first missions trip and God completely turned my life upside down in the best way possible. My heart began to burn for missions and for Gods people. It was on my first missions trip that God called me to missions. From that moment forward I gave God my complete YES to spread the name of Jesus among all peoples.

After my first missions trip in March, I went to El Salvador for a second time for a two month internship. During this time, God continued to speak to me about my call and I learned so much about my identity. One night as I was praying and asking God what my next was, he began to speak to me that I’m not just going to one place to share the gospel, but to the nations. When I got back from this internship, I had so many different countries and places on my heart to travel to. I knew that I would need support, so God began to put “among all peoples” on my heart.
